Brought the kids for a long weekend. They didn't want to leave. Honestly, neither did we. The fire pit every night was the highlight — better than any hotel we've stayed at.
Four of us came out for a fishing weekend. Pond in the morning, Lake Lavon in the afternoon. Cleanest park I've stayed at in years. We're already booking the same weekend next year.
Just needed to get out of the city for two nights. 45 minutes felt like a different world. Quiet, well-maintained, friendly staff. I'll be back on my own in the fall.
